DEANNA SAGER

Friends from the Canadian NLP community honored Deanna at the 2004 conference as the first recipient of CANLP’s annual ‘Certificate of Recognition’ award in honour of her contribution to the world of NLP.
Dreaming and wondering
Ever questioning
Altruistic
Nurturing spirituality
Noticing quality
Always reaching for the ideal

Friends and strangers alike meet this wonderful bundle of energy when they arrive for conferences or workshops, or step into her bookstore. Familiar faces from previous events, voices once heard only on the phone, signatures on a fax or an email now connect with a hug and a warm welcoming heart. A full range of emotions dance in every word and gesture from this quiet dynamo, sometimes in a private chat and, more often, over a tasty meal or standing around in her kitchen.Deanna cares for the people currently in her life and for those who will be, whether they are family, colleagues, trainees or clients both near and far. She’s good at connecting with people of competence and expertise; she touches the fountain of joy in others.

Just as these relationships span the continent, so too does Deanna’s involvement with NLP span time. Since Deanna was involved in NLP from the early 80's, she got to train with Richard Bandler, John Grinder, Robert Dilts, and Steve and Connirae Andreas. And this thirst for knowledge continued: LAB Profile, Stress Map, PhotoReading, Core Transformation, Gallo’s energy work, Noology, and who knows what’s next.

With her Master of Science degree (M. Sc.), the Georgian Bay NLP Centre, the Rainbow Magic bookstore, as a Clinical Member of the Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and author of: SPARKLERS: Creating the Future I Want, she has found a myriad of ways to create her voice and speak her truth.

Having more than 30 years of experience spanning the fields of Education, Health, Business, Stress Management and Integrative Learning, it provides her with the variety to sample optional systems and assay out the choices that synchronize best.

Deanna explores alternative ideas and new possibilities. Multitudinous responsibilities in all the North American NLP organizations is a hallmark of her style. The contacts made through this leadership are a source for her of new NLP applications and ways of pushing the boundaries. She is always on the lookout for new ideas that make a difference, notices patterns of interconnectedness, and recognizes attainable goals.

Pulling together all of this knowledge, she develops quality trainings that verify the correctness of the model. She creates unique exercises, each pushing the limits of NLP and enabling participants to explore process. To inspire others, she invites quality trainers across the NLP community into the Toronto area, leading that city in becoming a hub of NLP in Canada.

Deanna is energetically dedicated to offering high quality, hands-on, experiential training in full respect for the powerful integrity and boundless resourcefulness of each person with whom she interacts. Her vibrant approach honours the whole person in body, mind, heart and spirit. Deanna’s wisdom makes her a gifted and highly respected international trainer who synergistically lives what she teaches. She smoothly creates a positively charged atmosphere where learning is fun, easy, enjoyable and exciting.

Deanna, we are proud to have you as our first winner: a lady whose personal and professional values weave through the NLP fabric. You are a worthy recipient. We look up to you with pride and wait to hear the next questions with which you will challenge us. Thank you!
